They explain the use of safety equipment to passengers in a clear, concise manner.

Flight Attendants provide constant attention to customers for a safe and reliable onboard experience. They remain positive, respectful, and understanding during challenging situations and passenger conflicts while maintaining physical health and professional appearance standards. They inform passengers of Federal Aviation Regulations and abide by the Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook, and Flight Attendant Manual.

A thorough working knowledge of all emergency procedures is essential, including the ability to operate emergency equipment onboard. Flight Attendants perform duties to assist with inflight medical emergencies and special needs passengers, such as unaccompanied minors or physically challenged individuals. Bases are assigned based on operational needs and seniority, currently in IAD, IAH, and SDF.

Compensation starts at $27.82 per flight hour in the first year, with a raise at the first anniversary, plus per diem pay and other incentives.
