Blue Handling, the exclusive Ground Handling partner for the Ryanair Group at Stansted Airport, offers an exciting opportunity for Crew Controllers to join the team in offices at the airport. You will work closely with the Ryanair management team, reporting to Blue Handling and Ryanair Operations Leads & Managers. This role supports the team of Ryanair crew controllers with a direct working relationship to Ryanair Head Office.

In day-to-day operations, you will implement roster changes, process annual leave and sick leave requests, and ensure compliance with EASA.FTL regulations. Responsibilities include organizing crew dispositions, planning proceedings and accommodation, and verifying correct crew composition and qualifications. You will serve as the contact person for cabin crew via telephone and handle standby activations.

The position thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demanding a first-class service mindset. Close cooperation occurs with Ryanair OCC and departments like training, cabin management, and flight operations. Administrative activities support smooth operations amid high-volume workloads.

Requirements

  • Experience in the aviation industry
  • Used to working with high volume workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, able to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience with AIMS and flying experience
  • Communicative and friendly personality with high assertiveness
  • Strong social skills and team player

Responsibilities

  • Implement roster changes and annual leave requests in day-to-day operations
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations according to EASA.FTL
  • Organize and optimize crew dispositions
  • Plan proceedings and accommodation
  • Ensure correct crew composition and on-board qualification
  • Process sick leave and vacation requests for crew members and activate standby
  • Act as contact person for cabin crew over telephone
  • Cooperate closely with Ryanair OCC and operational departments like training and flight operations
