Part-Time Ramp Agents at Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) handle baggage, cargo, and aircraft operations for United Ground Express. Bend, stoop, crawl to stack cargo, ascend jet-way stairs carrying items, and clean aircraft interiors and lavatories.

Work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions at a busy airport environment. Read aircraft load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels to prep for flights. Maintain credentials including airport badging and background checks while operating computers and mobile devices.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Must acquire and maintain credentials including fingerprint clearance, local airport badging, and background check
  • Successful completion of pre-employment process including drug screen, hearing and vision check
  • Available to work any shift including day/night, weekends, holidays; mandatory overtime may be required
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
  • Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 70 lbs
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Lift baggage, boxes, or cargo weighing up to 70 lbs throughout shift
  • Push/pull loaded and empty carts during loading/unloading operations
  • Ascend/descend jet-way stairs while carrying baggage
  • Bend/stoop and crawl to move and stack/unstack cargo in aircraft
  • Drive ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts
  • Clean interior of aircraft and service lavatories
  • Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels
  • Ensure compliance with United and FAA regulations and policies
