Flight Attendants ensure customer safety and comfort with best service on aircraft, serve meals, snacks, beverages, and process payments. They assist with luggage stowing, answer questions for unaccompanied minors, elderly, and special needs individuals. Effective communication includes public announcements and safety demonstrations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and comfort of customers by providing every customer with the very best service on aircraft
  • Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure
  • Perform all work activities in accordance with established standards, policies, laws, and FAA regulations
  • Respond effectively during emergency situations and provide emergency medical assistance such as CPR and basic first aid
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and process payments for items
  • Provide customer service assistance such as lifting, transporting, and stowing luggage into overhead bins
  • Answer customers’ questions and provide assistance to unaccompanied minors, the elderly, and individuals with special needs
  • Communicate effectively with public address announcements, safety demonstrations, instructions, and updates
