Provide ground service support to some of Canada’s best airlines at Abbotsford International Airport. This role reports directly to an amazing Shift Lead who is there to support you. Known for reliability and flexibility? This is your chance to shine.

Work as a strong team member in a fast-paced ramp environment. Handle aircraft marshalling, baggage operations, and cabin grooming daily. Operate ground service equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency on the ramp.

Requirements

Personal flexibility to work shift work including early mornings, days, late evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push and pull for extended periods of time
Physical ability to consistently lift up to 70lbs/32kgs
Willingness to work outside in all types of weather
Wear safety wear including steel toe boots (green patch), reflective vest, and hearing protection
Obtain Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada
Pass a criminal background check
Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driver's abstract

Responsibilities

Ensure airline procedures are followed in line with the rules and regulations of Transport Canada
Drive and operate ground service equipment
Marshall and wing-walk aircraft to gate
Sort, load and offload guest baggage in accordance with load plan
Deliver guest baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system
Service aircraft water and lavatories
Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove or dispose of when found
Groom aircraft by cleaning cabin, galleys, lavatories and restocking lavatory supplies
