Flight attendants attend preflight briefings to review weather, route, emergency procedures, and onboard services, then prepare the cabin for boarding. Safety demonstrations cover seat belts, oxygen masks, and life jackets, while monitoring compliance professionally.
In-flight service involves providing food and beverages per procedures and reconciling payments for purchases. During emergencies, they direct evacuations, administer first aid, and handle equipment like oxygen bottles and fire extinguishers. Post-flight duties include securing the cabin and assisting deplaning.

Requirements
- Physically and psychologically capable of performing safety procedures and assisting guests in emergencies
- Able to handle emergency situations and effectively deal with all types of personalities in an attentive and pleasant manner
- Able to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays; meet physical demands of high altitudes
- Japanese language qualified for guest interactions
- Obtain and maintain authorization for unescorted access to aircraft and SIDA areas
- Assist ill or incapacitated passengers and crew during emergencies
- Evacuate aircraft in heavy, dense smoke during cabin fire
- Access, handle, and operate oxygen bottles, fire extinguishers, and other emergency equipment
Responsibilities

- Direct and assist guests during emergency procedures including evacuations; administer first aid and complete incident reports
- Provide consistent food and beverage service according to airline procedures; collect and reconcile payments for onboard purchases
- Prepare guests and cabin for landing by following established procedures; ensure cabin is secure and assist with deplaning
- Successfully complete annual FAA-approved re-certification and maintain current knowledge of emergency procedures
- Collaborate effectively with crew members to deliver a seamless Aloha experience and escalate potential issues
