About this role
Ramp Agents work outside at the heart of every successful departure. They guide planes, move bags and cargo, help with de-icing during cold weather, and keep operations running smoothly. It's a busy, hands-on role helping flights leave on time.
Employees collaborate in Ground Operations to ensure safe and scheduled flights. Schedules follow a seniority-based bidding process, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Mandatory overtime may be required to support flight operations.
This part-time position involves 32 hours over 5 days generally, with 6.5-hour shifts after training. New hires complete 4-6 weeks of training, consisting of 8-hour classroom or on-the-job sessions over 5 days weekly. Shift trading opportunities help find a workable schedule.

Requirements
- Currently a resident of the State of Colorado for external applicants
- Not interviewed and not selected for Ramp Agent at DEN within the last 12 months
- U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy bags and cargo
- Availability for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to complete 4-6 weeks of initial training
Responsibilities
- Guide planes to and from gates
- Move bags and cargo on and off aircraft
- Assist with de-icing planes during cold weather
- Help keep ramp operations running smoothly
- Load and unload baggage and freight
- Marshal aircraft using standard signals
- Operate ground support equipment safely
- Support timely aircraft turnarounds
