About this role

Following a successful bid on the Alberta NVIS Forestry contract, Topflight Elite Training & Charter Services is expanding its operational team. The company seeks experienced NVIS pilots to support night forestry operations using the Airbus H125 in Alberta.

Pilots will act as pilot in command per operational standards while conducting night visual imaging system flights. Duties include supporting forestry operations and maintaining compliance with all Transport Canada requirements during rotational assignments.

Requirements

  • Valid Transport Canada Commercial Rotary-wing Licence
  • Canadian Pilot Licence - Helicopter (CPL-H) or ATPL (H)
  • NVIS endorsement with recent operational experience
  • Valid Category 1 Medical
  • Authorization to work in Canada (no sponsorship available)
  • Experience on the Airbus H125 (preferred)
  • Forestry, utility, or night-operations experience (strong asset)
  • Ability to work a 2-and-2 rotational schedule and relocate if required

Responsibilities

  • Operate the Airbus H125 during night forestry operations using NVIS equipment
  • Act as pilot in command in accordance with operational standards
  • Support Alberta NVIS Forestry contract missions across assigned areas
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft and NVIS systems
  • Maintain compliance with Transport Canada regulations during all night operations
  • Coordinate with ground crews and forestry personnel on mission requirements
