About this role

Topflight Elite Training & Charter Services, formerly the Canadian Helicopters School of Advanced Flight Training, is expanding its operational team following a successful bid on the Alberta NVIS Forestry contract. We are seeking experienced NVIS pilots to support night forestry operations on the Airbus H125 in Alberta.

In this role, you will act as a pilot per operational standards, conducting night vision imaging system (NVIS) flights for forestry missions. You will operate primarily on the Airbus H125, performing utility and night operations in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

You will join a team of passionate, committed professionals who enjoy surpassing themselves within a strong safety culture. The work follows a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotational schedule, requiring you to live in or relocate to the assigned area.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Transport Canada Commercial Rotary-wing Licence
  • Canadian Pilot Licence - Helicopter (CPL-H) or ATPL (H) required
  • Must hold authorization to work in Canada (this position is not available for sponsorship)
  • NVIS endorsement with recent operational experience
  • Experience on the Airbus H125 (preferred)
  • Forestry, utility, or night‑operations experience considered a strong asset
  • Valid Category 1 Medical
  • Must live in the assigned area or be willing to relocate to the assigned area

Responsibilities

  • Act as a pilot as per operation standard
  • Support night forestry operations using NVIS on the Airbus H125
  • Perform utility and night-operations flights in Alberta
  • Adhere to a strong safety culture and crew resource management practices
  • Maintain professionalism and effective communication during all flight operations
  • Relocate to the assigned area and work a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotational schedule
