About this role
We are seeking a diligent Ramp Agent to join our team. This role involves handling cargo and baggage, operating ground support equipment, and ensuring the safe and timely movement of aircraft. Early morning shifts run Sunday 04:15-08:00 AM, Monday 03:15-07:30 AM, and Tuesday-Friday 06:30-09:30 AM.
Ramp Agents load and unload baggage and cargo from aircraft daily. They operate equipment like tugs and belt loaders while directing aircraft to and from parking spots. Safety and security of the ramp area remain top priorities throughout operations.
Team members work in a fast-paced environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and air traffic control. The role demands attention to detail amid various weather conditions. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays support aviation demands.
Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening to join. This position offers hands-on involvement in aircraft ground handling at a busy aviation hub. Commitment to safety protocols ensures smooth ramp operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
