About this role

Passenger Service Ramp Agents meet and greet customers with tickets and provide assistance to passengers as requested or required. They monitor ticket counter and self-service check-in queue activity. Assist with the ticketing and boarding process, gates, and baggage service.

Provide ground support for inbound and outbound aircraft, including baggage handling, mail and freight handling, aircraft servicing, driving motorized equipment, and cleaning of aircraft interiors. Direct large pieces of luggage, pets, and other checked articles to oversize. Offer special services like courtesy chairs and bag carts as required.

Greet passengers, clients, and airline personnel in a courteous and professional manner. Provide general information, directions, and flight information while actively participating in the company's safety management system. Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems, maintain cleanliness of work areas, and report maintenance needs.

Project a positive image and respond to inquiries courteously. Attend meetings and inservices as required, utilize appropriate communications channels, and maintain records, reports, and files. Adhere to company policies and procedures while in proper uniform with visible identification badges.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Computer experience necessary
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to consistently push, pull, and lift 50 to 70 lbs
  • Must be able to carry oversized bags 100 to 125 yards
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check and meet security badge requirements
