AU-TSPV Positive Vetting clearance required. Travel 10% of the time. Relocation assistance may be available.

Requirements

Certificate IV in Aeroskills
Experience working in either an Avionics or Mechanical trade capacity
Ability to hold and maintain a AGSVA security clearance
Australian citizenship required
Demonstrate competency of aircraft systems, AMD and local work instructions
Satisfy police checks and employment screening verification
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance

Responsibilities

Apply avionics or mechanical expertise to complex maintenance tasks on critical defence aircraft
Lead scheduled maintenance on Triton Program aircraft
Lead unscheduled maintenance to address issues promptly
Ensure each aircraft is mission ready for ADF operations
Demonstrate competency of aircraft systems
Follow AMD and local work instructions
Perform hands-on maintenance enhancing maritime surveillance capabilities
