AU-TSPV Positive Vetting clearance required. Travel 10% of the time. Relocation assistance may be available.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills
  • Experience working in either an Avionics or Mechanical trade capacity
  • Ability to hold and maintain a AGSVA security clearance
  • Australian citizenship required
  • Demonstrate competency of aircraft systems, AMD and local work instructions
  • Satisfy police checks and employment screening verification
  • International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance

Responsibilities

  • Apply avionics or mechanical expertise to complex maintenance tasks on critical defence aircraft
  • Lead scheduled maintenance on Triton Program aircraft
  • Lead unscheduled maintenance to address issues promptly
  • Ensure each aircraft is mission ready for ADF operations
  • Demonstrate competency of aircraft systems
  • Follow AMD and local work instructions
  • Perform hands-on maintenance enhancing maritime surveillance capabilities
