Our Engineers on board (“Flying Spanners”) are a key part of our Charter Team. They carry out daily checks and defect rectification down route, ensuring aeroplanes keep flying and customers stay happy. This role supports liaison between our CAMO and maintenance organisation.

Requirements

Current CAA Part 66 B1 License with type ratings on B737 Classic and NG
Demonstrable recency on type
B2 License and rating (significant advantage)
Ability to be flexible, including spending periods away from home at short notice
IT literate (MS Office, Web Based IT systems)
Capable of working in small team, autonomously and with minimal supervision
Personable, with a customer focussed attitude
Proof of right to work in the UK and unrestricted travel documentation

Responsibilities

Carry out daily checks down route
Perform defect rectification on B737 aircraft
Ensure aeroplanes keep flying and customers stay happy
Support liaison between CAMO and maintenance organisation
Conduct line maintenance as Flying Spanner on VIP charters
Travel with aircraft for on-board support
Certify work using B1 license on B737 Classic and NG
