Breeze is looking for 'Seriously Nice' Pilots to fly the Airbus A220 at the newest and nicest airline. First Officers are responsible for ensuring safe and timely flight operations in accordance with all Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations. Our Pilots are overall Leaders who safely take care of our Team Members and Guests.

They understand that our pursuit of excellence is not a destination, but rather, a journey. Responsibilities include having thorough working knowledge of equipment, Federal Aviation Regulations, and Company manuals. First Officers plan flights with applicable weather information and assess risk using the CRM concept of 'Assertiveness with Respect.'

Develop technically and professionally in preparation for transition to PIC. Through completion of pre- and post-flight inspections, ensure airworthy condition. Breeze offers competitive pay rates that increase with seniority, as shown in the structured pay scale.

Requirements

Must be at least 23 years old at the time of hire
FAA ATP Certificate or Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi engine and instrument ratings
Current ATP Written completed if an FAA ATP is not held
Minimum 1,500 hours total time (excluding simulator and Flight Engineer time)
Minimum 500 hours fixed wing turbine time
Minimum 750 hours fixed wing time
Minimum 500 hours cross country time
Minimum 250 hours fixed wing PIC, 100 hours night, and 75 hours instrument

Responsibilities

Ensure safe and timely flight operations in accordance with all Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations
Plan flights using weather information, Company policies, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
Perform all duties the Captain may assign in flight
Assess risk and use resources to keep risk acceptable during all phases of ground and flight operations
Employ the CRM concept of 'Assertiveness with Respect'
Maintain a high degree of proficiency and thorough knowledge of flight operations, procedures, and aircraft systems
Develop technically and professionally in preparation for transition to PIC
Perform pre- and post-flight inspections to ensure the airworthy condition of assigned aircraft
