About this role
As an Aircraft Dispatcher, you will collaborate with our Pilots to ensure safe and reliable flight operations. You will directly impact PSA’s on-time departures and flight completion. Customers are delivered to their destination safely and on time.
Prepare the Dispatch Release considering weather planning, fuel planning, aircraft airworthiness, and routing strategy for all aircraft under operational control. Monitor flight progress and issue necessary information for safety of each flight. Provide assistance to crews and outstations while tracking factors like weather, air traffic control, and maintenance.

Requirements
- FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
- Ability to interpret meteorological data and forecasts
- Understanding of aircraft performance, weight, and balance calculations
- Proficiency in flight planning and navigation procedures
- Familiarity with air traffic control communications and procedures
- Ability to analyze routing strategies and fuel requirements
Responsibilities
- Prepare the Dispatch Release considering weather planning, fuel planning, aircraft airworthiness, and routing strategy for all aircraft under operational control
- Maintain flight and weather records in accordance with Federal Air regulations
- Monitor the progress of each flight under operational control and issue necessary information for safety
- Provide adequate assistance to crews and outstations in planning and expediting each flight
- Consistently monitor factors such as weather, air traffic control, and maintenance which may affect flight outcomes
- Remain aware of passenger loads and overall passenger service when flight planning per Federal Air Regulations and safety practices
- Coordinate flight activities, routine and non-routine
