About this role

As a Part-Time Ramp Agent with United Ground Express, handle baggage, cargo, and aircraft servicing to support flight operations. Lift items up to 70 lbs., push carts, and drive ground equipment like tugs and belt loaders. Ensure aircraft are prepped and secured for departure while reading load sheets and tags.

Day-to-day tasks include ascending jet-way stairs with baggage, bending to stack cargo in tight spaces, and cleaning aircraft interiors and lavatories. Use radio devices to communicate with crew and co-workers during loading and unloading. Operate bag carts to deliver baggage efficiently.

Work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions, complying with United and FAA regulations. Available for day/night shifts, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime as needed. Team environment requires physical stamina and quick adaptability at the gate.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Must acquire fingerprint clearance, local airport badging, and background check
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, hearing, and vision check
Available to work any shift, day or night, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and new technologies
Must read, write, fluently speak, and understand English
Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform physical activities like pushing, bending, stooping, climbing
