Breeze Airways seeks "Seriously Nice" Part-Time Flight Attendants for the MSY Crew Base. As highly visible Team Members, you ensure Guest and Team Member safety and comfort. Provide exceptional Guest experiences by warmly welcoming passengers, assisting with seating, luggage stowage, and information requests. Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages including alcohol while upholding hygiene standards. Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organization in tight quarters.

Remain calm under pressure, mitigate high-stress situations, and collaborate with Team Members. Stay approachable by regularly monitoring the cabin and demonstrating respect. Remain flexible with schedules impacted by operational, weather, or unforeseen delays.

Complete paid initial Flight Attendant training with Breeze-provided luggage and uniform. Gain eligibility for 401K after 90 days and travel benefits on Breeze network after 30 days. Progress through pay rates from $25 to $37.50 per hour based on seniority.

Requirements

  • Must live within a two-hour driving distance from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
  • Successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training
  • Stay current and compliant with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements
  • Demonstrate personal responsibility by being punctual, timely, and proactive
  • Uphold professional appearance and etiquette guidelines both in and out of the cabin
  • Capable of controlling personal and emotional responses
  • Comfortable working in tight quarters
  • Willing to assist in other departments if necessary

Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional Guest experience by warmly welcoming Guests, aiding in seating assignments, luggage stowage, and additional assistance
  • Remain positive and kind, ensuring Guests feel valued, appreciated, empathetic, and treated with humanity
  • Maintain a safe work environment for Guests and Team Members
  • Remain calm under pressure and mitigate high-stress situations
  • Effectively communicate, collaborate, and show respect for other Team Members
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages including alcohol while practicing highest hygiene standards
  • Provide instruction including emergency and evacuation procedures to Guests
  • Administer first-aid and medical care if required in emergencies
