We employ more than 650 people across New Zealand to provide Cabin Crew, Pilots and other aviation services to the Qantas Group. As Duty Crew Controller, maintain and support network integrity through effective day-to-day management of aircraft and crew operations. Responsibilities include managing crew rosters, booking accommodation, answering emails and dealing with flight disruptions. Liaise with airports and airlines while monitoring flight operations and ensuring regulatory compliance.

This full-time permanent position is based in Auckland with shift work across a 24-hour/7-day rotating roster. Work autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Take pride in exceeding expectations and challenge yourself in an exciting operational role.

Requirements

  • Understanding of airline operations and crewing requirements
  • Exposure to and familiarity with applicable regulatory rules and requirements
  • Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
  • High level computer skills with ability to learn multiple systems efficiently
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Positive and proactive approach with ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Flexibility to work shifts across a 24 hour/7-day roster
