About this role

Unifi Aviation seeks Ramp Agents for part-time roles supporting Aer Lingus at Cleveland. Work non-exempt PM shifts from 4:00pm to 9:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Handle essential ground operations for safe aircraft servicing.

Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft daily. Safeguard baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction. Lift, sort, and transfer items using aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts safely.

Operate pushback equipment while maintaining visual contact with wing walkers for clearance. Receive, record, pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to aircraft. Prepare records for airfreight, mail, and company materials as required.

Join a dynamic ramp team in aviation ground handling at a major airport. Focus on safety and efficiency in all weather conditions. Build hands-on skills in aircraft turnaround operations.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Capable of frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must pass airport security and background checks
  • Available for PM shifts including weekends

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft
  • Safeguard customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, and destruction
  • Lift, load/unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material into and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts safely
  • Operate pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with wing walkers to ensure the equipment is free of danger
  • Receive and record customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required
  • Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and prepare records
