Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to swim 25 yards unaided
  • Arm reach of at least 80 inches when standing
  • Pass FAA-required medical examination
  • Pass background check and drug screening
  • Valid passport for potential international routes

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Captain in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight from planning through termination
  • Comply with all applicable FARs, TSA, DOT regulations, company procedures and policies
  • Perform the correct and timely completion of all duties assigned by the company or Captain
  • Conduct a preflight inspection of all cabin emergency equipment as outlined in the Inflight Manual
  • Promptly report any mechanical discrepancies to the Captain
  • Advocate directly and clearly to the Captain any perceptions relative to the safety of the passengers
  • Maintain a high degree of crew coordination and professionalism
  • Perform duties in a professional, efficient and cordial manner at all times when on duty
