Breeze is looking for “Seriously Nice” Part Time Flight Attendants for our BDL Crew Base. Flight Attendants are responsible for the safety and comfort of Guests and fellow Team Members while embracing Breeze’s Five Core Values – Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
Flight Attendants provide an exceptional Guest experience by warmly welcoming Guests onto the aircraft, aiding in seating assignments, luggage stowage, and offering additional information. They remain positive, kind, and empathetic, ensuring Guests always feel valued and appreciated. They maintain a safe work environment and stay approachable by monitoring the cabin regularly.
Team Members collaborate and problem solve cross-functionally, showing respect and effectively communicating to perform at their best together. They demonstrate good judgement, remain calm under pressure, and mitigate high-stress situations. Flexibility is key as schedules may change due to operational, weather-related, or unforeseen delays.
Breeze provides paid initial Flight Attendant training and covers issuance of luggage and uniform. Part Time Flight Attendants enjoy a monthly guarantee of 37.5 flying hours, progressive pay rates starting at $25 per hour, and travel benefits on the Breeze network after 30 days. 401K eligibility begins after 90 days of employment.
Requirements
- Must live within a two-hour driving distance from Bradley International Airport
- Interview and be selected to become a Part Time Breeze Flight Attendant
- Successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training
- Stay current and compliant with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements
- Demonstrate personal responsibility – be punctual, timely, and proactive
- Uphold professional appearance and etiquette guidelines, both in and out of the cabin
- Comfortable working in tight quarters and using Breeze’s Inflight technology
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional Guest experience – warmly welcome Guests onto aircraft, aid in seating assignments, luggage and garment stowage
- Remain positive and be kind – ensure Guests feel valued and appreciated; be empathetic and act with humanity
- Maintain a safe work environment for Guests and Team Members
- Remain calm under pressure and mitigate high-stress situations
- Effectively communicate, collaborate, and show respect for other Team Members
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages (including alcohol) while practicing highest hygiene standards
- Provide instruction, including emergency and evacuation procedures, to Guests
- Administer first-aid and medical care if required in an emergency
