About this role
At Hawaiian Airlines, flight attendants ensure the safety of guests aboard company aircraft by performing safety procedures and assisting in emergencies. They work in a fast-paced environment, handling situations and personalities attentively and pleasantly. Secondarily, they deliver customer service including food and beverage while providing an unsurpassed Aloha experience. This is a union represented position.
Flight attendants attend preflight briefings to review weather, route, emergency procedures, and onboard services, then prepare the cabin for boarding. They greet guests warmly, direct them to seats, assist with luggage, and respond to questions throughout the flight. Safety demonstrations cover seat belts, oxygen masks, and life jackets, with monitoring for compliance.
During flights, they provide consistent food and beverage service, collect payments for purchases, and prepare the cabin for landing. In emergencies, they direct evacuations, administer first aid, and handle equipment like oxygen bottles and fire extinguishers. Post-flight, they assist deplaning and complete incident reports.

Requirements
- Physically and psychologically capable of performing safety procedures and assisting guests in emergencies
- Able to handle emergency situations and deal with all types of personalities attentively and pleasantly
- Able to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Obtain and maintain authorization for unescorted access to aircraft and SIDA areas
- Italian Language Qualified
- Capable of accessing, handling, and operating oxygen bottles, fire extinguishers, and other emergency equipment
- Assist ill or incapacitated passengers and crew members during emergencies
Responsibilities

- Complete annual FAA-approved re-certification and maintain knowledge of emergency procedures
- Collaborate effectively with crew members to deliver a seamless guest experience
