Requirements

Physically able to lift, carry, and handle heavy baggage, cargo, and mail
Capable of operating motorized ground support equipment safely
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Willing to complete all required company, airport, and customer training
Committed to following safety, security, and compliance protocols

Responsibilities

Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate
Transport, lift, load/unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and mail material in and out of aircraft bins
Safeguard customer baggage, air cargo, airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage and/or destruction
Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies
Operate heavy equipment such as pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers
Operate and drive motorized equipment like belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers
Receive, record, pick up, deliver, and transport cargo, baggage, wheelchairs, strollers, live animals to/from aircraft
Complete paperwork, forms, and enter data into company's information system
