Requirements

  • Physically able to lift, carry, and handle heavy baggage, cargo, and mail
  • Capable of operating motorized ground support equipment safely
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willing to complete all required company, airport, and customer training
  • Committed to following safety, security, and compliance protocols

Responsibilities

  • Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate
  • Transport, lift, load/unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and mail material in and out of aircraft bins
  • Safeguard customer baggage, air cargo, airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage and/or destruction
  • Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies
  • Operate heavy equipment such as pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers
  • Operate and drive motorized equipment like belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers
  • Receive, record, pick up, deliver, and transport cargo, baggage, wheelchairs, strollers, live animals to/from aircraft
  • Complete paperwork, forms, and enter data into company's information system
