About this role

Manage turnaround activities of all flights in coordination with various stakeholders, government departments and service providers. Ensure regulatory compliance with the target of expediting safe flight departures, ensuring OTP, and providing exceptional customer service. This role focuses on operational efficiency and safety in a dynamic aviation environment.

Stay aware of aircraft details, schedule, expected guest loads, baggage and cargo loads. Brief all stakeholders involved in flight arrival and departure, including gate staff, crew and ramp staff. Lead EY and 3rd party agent teams with a positive attitude while pre-empting issues and cascading information to keep guests and departments informed.

Handle operational and last-minute changes affecting turnaround, such as offloading cargo, guests or baggage for accurate Loading Instruction Report (LIR) and Loadsheet. Allocate delay codes and timings in collaboration with schedule failures for trend assessment. Report turnaround events post-departure in a professional manner, reaching balanced conclusions on delays and performance lapses.

Perform load planning for various aircraft types per company weight and balance rules, from flight creation to final Loadsheet. Identify safety risks on and around the aircraft per company risk assessment process. Join Etihad Airways, shaping the future of global aviation from Abu Dhabi hub.

Requirements

  • Educated to secondary school level (High School) or other Diplomas completed
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role, aircraft dispatch, Load Control, Ramp Agent, Airline Operations or related aviation role
  • Knowledge of aircraft weight and balance rules and guidelines
  • Familiarity with load planning and Loadsheet production
  • Understanding of aviation regulatory compliance and safety risk assessment
  • Experience coordinating with stakeholders and service providers in aviation operations

Responsibilities

  • Make effective tactical decisions during turnaround operations
  • Allocate delay codes and timings for off-schedule departures in collaboration with schedule failures
  • Report turnaround events post-departure reaching balanced conclusions on accountability for delays
  • Perform load planning for various aircraft types in accordance with weight and balance rules
