Aircraft Ground Handler

Leidos Airborne Solutions Australia offers a great entry level opportunity as an Aircraft Ground Handler at our Cairns engineering base. Play a key role in maintaining safety, efficiency and base upkeep. Join a trusted partner to the Australian Government leading critical airborne special missions from border surveillance to search-and-rescue operations.

Assist engineers with ground handling activities including wing walk and clearance when aircraft are moved, connect and disconnect power units and air conditioning units, and compressor wash engines. Clean aircraft interiors and exteriors. Liaise with external suppliers in relation to vehicle and facilities repairs and maintenance.

Our team operates aviation bases across Australia and Indian Ocean Territories, a 24/7 Operations Centre, Systems Integration Lab and Mission Equipment Service Centre.
