Unifi, the largest aviation services provider in North America, is seeking to make immediate hires on our Ramp team. As an Airport Ramp Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft on the ground. Your primary responsibilities support smooth airport operations.

Load and unload baggage, cargo, and other materials from aircraft while ensuring proper weight distribution. Guide planes to and from gates using standard aviation signals. Perform various ground support tasks to facilitate daily flight activities.

Work with the Ramp team at a major airport like Toronto Pearson in varying weather conditions. Adhere to safety regulations during all handling procedures. Collaborate to verify secure loading and prevent damage during transportation.

Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds repeatedly
Valid driver's license with clean record
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
Pass airport security background check and drug screening
At least 18 years of age
Familiarity with aviation safety protocols

Responsibilities

Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft, ensuring proper weight distribution and adherence to safety regulations
Secure and verify the correct loading of cargo and baggage to prevent damage during transportation
Connect and disconnect aircraft tow bars for safe ground movement
Guide planes to and from gates using hand signals and marshalling
Operate ground service equipment such as baggage carts and tugs
Perform aircraft servicing tasks including chocking wheels and positioning
Execute ground support tasks to ensure smooth airport operations
