Lift baggage, boxes, or cargo up to 70 lbs throughout shifts, potentially over 100 items per aircraft. Push and pull loaded carts, ascend jet-way stairs with baggage, and bend or stoop to stack cargo. Drive tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts for loading and gate operations.

Clean aircraft interiors and service lavatories while reading load sheets, baggage tags, and labels. Use radio devices to communicate with crew and comply with FAA regulations. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, prepping aircraft for next flights.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Must acquire and maintain credentials including fingerprint clearance, airport badging, and background check
  • Successful completion of pre-employment process including drug screen, hearing, and vision check
  • Available to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime
  • Able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with items up to 70 lbs
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Lift baggage, boxes, or cargo weighing up to 70 lbs throughout shift
  • Push/pull loaded and empty carts during loading/unloading operations
  • Ascend/descend jet-way stairs while carrying baggage
  • Bend/stoop and crawl to move and stack/unstack cargo in aircraft
  • Drive ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts
  • Clean interior of aircraft and service lavatories
  • Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and prep aircraft for next flight
