Breeze is hiring “Seriously Nice” Part Time Flight Attendants for the ORF Crew Base. Team Members welcome and accommodate Guests, mitigate high-stress situations, and collaborate with others. They act as the face of the Company using good judgement and kindness.
Day-to-day involves providing exceptional Guest experiences by assisting with seating, luggage stowage, and information requests. Flight Attendants prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages while maintaining cabin cleanliness. They monitor the cabin, remain flexible with schedule changes, and use inflight technology.
Team Members work cross-functionally in a high-visibility role, staying current with FAA regulations and company procedures. Training is paid, with travel benefits starting after 30 days on Breeze Network. Pay rates increase from $25 per hour in year one, with 401K eligibility after 90 days.
Requirements
- Must live within a two-hour driving distance from Norfolk International Airport
- Interview and be selected to become a Part Time Breeze Flight Attendant
- Successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training
- Stay current and compliant with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements
- Demonstrate personal responsibility by being punctual, timely, and proactive
- Uphold professional appearance and etiquette guidelines in and out of the cabin
- Comfortable working in tight quarters and using Breeze’s Inflight technology
- Capable of controlling personal and emotional responses under pressure
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional Guest experience by warmly welcoming Guests, aiding in seating assignments, luggage stowage, and additional information
- Remain positive and kind, ensuring Guests feel valued and appreciated with empathy
- Maintain a safe work environment for Guests and Team Members
- Remain calm under pressure and mitigate high-stress situations
- Effectively communicate, collaborate, and show respect for other Team Members
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages including alcohol while practicing highest hygiene standards
- Provide instruction on emergency and evacuation procedures to Guests
- Administer first-aid and medical care if required in emergencies
