At Sky Handling Partner, our people ‘are’ our business. We are thrilled to offer the opportunity to join us as a Flight Dispatcher in the fast-paced environment of Dublin Airport, working with one of Ireland’s leading Ground Services Providers. We are currently recruiting for Flight Dispatchers to join our Flight and Traffic Coordinator Department.

Flight Dispatchers ensure the safe and efficient turnaround of aircraft with regards to passengers and staff. Prepare and sign an accurate load sheet for each departure. Ensure crews, catering, cleaners, fuellers, loaders, engineers and other suppliers complete their tasks.

Maintain contact with station control at all times to provide updates on flight turnarounds and delays. Operate the airbridge safely for both arrival and departure of aircraft. Take responsibility for acting in a vital communications role in disruption situations, liaising with relevant internal departments.

Able to work quickly but thoroughly without needing constant prompting in our busy schedule. Must adapt quickly in a very busy and highly demanding operational environment. Ability to work rostered shifts and be flexible in the event of disruptions, with excellent grooming and customer service standards.

Requirements

  • Full Clean Driving Licence, Category B with a clean driving record
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Ability to complete a 5-Year Security Background Check and Garda Vetting Process
  • Eligible to live and work in the E.U.
  • Proficient written and verbal English language skills
  • Ability to work rostered shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays with flexibility
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work quickly but thoroughly
  • Reliable with a good record for punctuality, proactive positive attitude, and excellent grooming and customer service standards

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and efficient turnaround of aircraft with regards to passengers and staff
  • Prepare and sign an accurate load sheet (manual or automated) for each departure
  • Ensure crews/catering/cleaners/fuellers/loaders/engineers and any other suppliers complete their tasks
  • Prepare a flight file after each departure with all relevant information and paperwork
  • Receive and carry out instructions from the station controller in a professional and punctual manner
  • Maintain contact with station control at all times to provide updates on flight turnarounds/delays
  • Operate the airbridge safely for both arrival and departure of aircraft
  • Act in a vital communications role in disruption situations, liaising with relevant internal departments
