About this role
The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Flight Dispatcher/Mission Planner to join their Flight Support Services team at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. In this position, you will support the 89th Airlift Wing Operation Group with ground-based logistics planning and flight dispatch services. Join the Boeing Global Services Engineering team creating innovative technologies for the future of aerospace.
You will monitor trip planning services tasks, ensuring they are updated accurately, and communicate with destination facilities to arrange appropriate support for arriving flights. Coordinate domestic and international customs, including advanced passenger information system setup, and follow active flights to provide crucial update information to foreign and domestic airports. Prepare and transmit routine flight plans and weather information while providing customers status of upcoming trips.
Acquire, distribute, and interpret publications for air crew to ensure safe flight and regulatory compliance. Maintain customer operational files, handling overflight and landing requests, hotel bookings, and crew transport. Work within a Mission Planning team maintaining 24/7/365 coverage with variable shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Requirements
- FAA Dispatcher Certificate or the ability to obtain FAA Dispatcher Certificate within 1 year of hire
- 3+ years of experience in mission planning
- 3+ years of experience in a customer service role
- Fluent in verbal and written communications skills in English
- Ability to work variable shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends for 24/7/365 coverage
- Active Security Clearance
- 5+ years of experience in mission planning
- 5+ years of experience in a customer service role
