Requirements

  • Successfully completed Mechanical Engineering degree or Technician qualification with several years of professional experience
  • Very good knowledge of engine technology, component wear and failure mechanisms, and manufacturing processes
  • Practical knowledge of mtu engines and systems operation in the field
  • Knowledge of maintenance and maintenance philosophies
  • Independent and proactive working style with analytical thinking
  • Openness to new ideas and change
  • Excellent communication and team abilities
  • Good English skills in spoken and written form; very good knowledge of CREO, SAP, Windchill, MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Develop remanufacturing and overhaul concepts for engines and systems
  • Develop and evaluate repair and overhaul processes for assemblies and components
  • Create component life duration criteria for residual life statements in collaboration with component owners
  • Define wear limit dimensions
  • Create and release specifications for repair and overhaul of assemblies and components
  • Create and release material numbers, building blocks, and bills of materials in SAP
  • Create and release drawings, data sheets, and documents for repair and overhaul solutions
  • Coordinate and collaborate with purchasing, controlling, quality, RO organization, and suppliers
