
About this role
As our MOC Duty Manager, you'll lead a team of technical specialists providing 24/7 support to TUI's global aircraft operations. You'll ensure our fleet remains safe, reliable and ready to deliver unforgettable holiday experiences to millions of customers.
You'll manage the 24/7 Maintenance Operations Centre team, providing leadership and technical guidance for continuous operational support across TUI's global fleet. Coordinate complex AOG situations, making critical decisions on maintenance actions, parts procurement and recovery plans to minimize disruption.
Serve as the primary interface between Engineering, Flight Operations and Commercial teams during technical incidents, ensuring clear communication and aligned decision-making. Oversee troubleshooting activities for in-service defects, guiding your team in providing expert technical advice to flight crews and engineers worldwide.
Monitor fleet technical status, deferred defects and maintenance planning to optimize aircraft availability while maintaining the highest safety standards. Develop and mentor MOC Engineers, building technical capabilities while fostering a collaborative culture focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Extensive aircraft maintenance experience with a CAA/EASA B1/B2 license and proven leadership in an operational engineering environment
- Excellent technical knowledge across multiple aircraft types with strong troubleshooting abilities and AOG recovery experience
- Sound decision-making skills with the ability to assess operational risk and make timely judgments under pressure
- Experienced with maintenance management systems like AMOS, with understanding of planning functions and modification control
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical situations clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Adaptable and resilient with willingness to support operations at short notice, including potential overseas travel when required
