The Operations Control Intern role offers hands-on learning experience in the aviation industry. Interns support the Operations Control team with primary focus on flight following. They monitor active and scheduled flights to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations, gaining exposure to travel coordination and flight support as required.
Daily tasks include tracking flight locations and statuses, providing timely updates to Owner Services and Duty Managers. Interns maintain awareness of weather and operational impacts, escalating issues promptly. They coordinate with third-party providers like FBOs, customs, and slots on changes and timings.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Enrolled in a post-secondary education program
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Restricted Operator Certificate (ROC-A); training provided if not obtained
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Highly organized with strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Good analytical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor the location and status of all active and scheduled flights, ensuring detailed and timely updates to Owner Services team and Duty Managers
- Monitor the status and progression of active and scheduled flights, providing timely and accurate updates to internal teams
- Maintain awareness of weather and operational impacts, escalating potential issues to the Duty Manager
- Update and coordinate with third-party providers (e.g., FBOs, customs, slots/PPRs) regarding changes and estimated arrival/departure times
- Proactively communicate updates to the Owner Services team to support owner-specific logistics and passenger communication
- Escalate and respond to operational irregularities in accordance with established procedures
- Ensure accuracy of information across systems and communications
- Assist with operational tasks, including flight support and crew travel, as needed
