Responsibilities include performing maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, assembly, and testing of avionics test equipment. Support failure analysis, root cause corrective action, and development of test procedures. Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, soldering, and calibrations. Manage workload and inventory in this innovative industry leader acquired by HEICO in 2001.

Requirements

  • High School diploma with 5+ years of documented experience and demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical tasks
  • Strong knowledge of Test Equipment and Systems, electronic troubleshooting, and failure analysis
  • Experience with engineering documentation, repair specifications, and test procedures
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, with significant experience in maintaining and supporting test equipment and systems
  • Working knowledge of FAA Part 145 repair station requirements and related regulations
  • FAA Required pre-employment drug screening
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
  • Read, write and comprehend English written technical documentation

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, assembly and testing of avionics test equipment
  • Provide support in failure analysis and root cause corrective action of test equipment and systems
  • Support development, maintenance, approval of test procedures, and gathering of engineering data
  • Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of systems for testing Avionics
  • Perform THT/SMT solder/rework, printed circuit board assembly, cable assembly, and system wiring
  • Perform basic troubleshooting to locate and diagnose failures, as well as perform calibrations using standard electronic equipment
  • Manage workload, parts inventory, and planning of maintenance activities as instructed
  • Perform tasks requiring the use of various hand and power tools
