About this role
The APAC Network Operations Control / Freight Management Center (APAC NOCFMC) is at the core of Asia Pacific operations, providing centralized command and control of the flight network. We are seeking an experienced Flight Operations Controller to oversee linehaul operations and support ramps, regional hubs, and other NOCs/FMCs worldwide.
In this role, you will plan and execute operational recovery strategies, managing disruptions from aircraft maintenance, weather, airport constraints, and other factors. You will be accountable for maintaining service levels, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring on-time performance while optimizing network efficiency and upholding safety.
This position operates in a 24/7 shift environment, requiring flexibility to manage real-time network exceptions and disruptions. You will collaborate with global teams across multiple NOCs and FMCs, working together to maintain seamless operations and uphold a safety-above-all culture.

Requirements
- Experience in flight operations control, network operations control, or a similar aviation operational role.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations, safety procedures, and flight planning processes.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills for managing operational disruptions.
- Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 shift environment with rotating schedules.
- Proficiency in using flight operations systems and communication tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- Experience in linehaul operations or hub/ramp coordination is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Oversee linehaul operations and support ramps, regional hubs, and other NOCs/FMCs worldwide.
- Plan and execute operational recovery strategies to manage disruptions from aircraft maintenance, weather, airport constraints, navigation, CIQ, aeropolitics, security, crew availability, and other external factors.
- Maintain service levels and enhance customer experience by ensuring on-time performance.
- Manage exceptions and optimize overall network efficiency to support network profitability.
- Uphold FedEx's 'safety above all' culture in all operational decisions.
- Perform 7/24 shift duties as required to maintain continuous network control.
- Monitor real-time network operations and respond to emerging issues affecting flight schedules.
