An exciting time to join the team as we continue to grow our Airbus A220 fleet. National Jet Systems are currently accepting applications for First Officers on the A220 fleet. Opportunities will be across our Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane bases.
The A220 offers substantial opportunities for our Flight Crew into the future. It introduces leading industry best-practice in the way we train and promote our crews. First Officers will operate from multiple bases serving Qantas routes.

Requirements
- Minimum 500 hours flight time in a fixed wing aircraft
- 200 hours in command of a multi engine aircraft (excluding PICUS), or 200 hours in command of a turbine powered fixed wing aircraft, or 200 hours on multi-crew aircraft
- Australian Part 61 Commercial Pilots Licence Aeroplane (CPL(A))
- Full ATPL(A) exam credit
- Multi Engine Aeroplane Class Rating
- Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with IAP 2D and IAP 3D
- CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training certificate or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Operate Airbus A220 aircraft as First Officer in multi-crew operations
- Conduct flights from bases in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane
- Perform duties under leading industry best-practice training
- Cooperate in multi-crew environment on turbine-powered fixed wing aircraft
- Execute instrument approaches including IAP 2D and IAP 3D
- Maintain safety and operational standards across Qantas network ports
