About this role

As a key member of the engineering team, you will work with dedicated professionals in a leading aeromedical organisation. Enjoy a roster that provides work/life balance. Reporting to the Engineering Base Manager, coordinate and perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft.

Manage the timely completion of maintenance and engineering activities. Carry out maintenance of aircraft components and supervise unlicensed engineers or contractors as required. Complete maintenance documentation correctly and maintain aircraft and engine log books.

Maintain aircraft within the scope of all licensing requirements, control and procedural manuals. Raise matters of non-compliance with CASA regulations and CareFlight policies with appropriate personnel. Adhere to safe practices, identify hazards and use the CareFlight Safety Reporting System.

Maintain personal tools and tool boxes per CareFlight’s Maintenance Procedures Manual. Conduct regular servicing of ground support equipment. Attend to correspondence, emails and phone calls as required, supporting the aeromedical mission.

Requirements

  • CASA Part 66 B1.1
  • Team player approach to work but able to work autonomously effectively
  • Ability to problem solve and provide workable solutions
  • Outstanding organisation skills and be self-motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with confidence to work with staff and crew from varying work groups and levels
  • Professional, service-orientated attitude
  • CASA Part 66 B1 AME Licence on Beech 200 Series (PWC PT6) (highly regarded)
  • CASA Part 66 B1 AME licence on Beechjet B400XT (Williams FJ44) (highly regarded)
