About this role
NHV Group is a European-based helicopter service provider specialised in business-to-business services both offshore and onshore. The B1.3 Engineer maintains helicopters, working in a team of engineers and reporting to the Maintenance Lead. This role ensures aircraft serviceability to meet operational needs.
Daily tasks include performing line maintenance to UK CAA and MOE standards, conducting problem analysis from pilot reports, and completing work within time scales. Engineers ensure flexible rosters for business continuity and handle preflight checks (PRF). They coordinate with supply chain for materials like spares and consumables.
The team collaborates on briefing and debriefing pilots, shift handovers, and daily reporting to the Maintenance Lead. Work follows company procedures in operations, quality, and safety. Flexible planning supports variable business demands in a dynamic environment.

Requirements
- UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 License
- Extensive relevant experience in aviation as a licensed engineer (preferred)
- Engineering experience in different aviation companies (a plus)
- ICT literate in specific aviation software and MS Office
- English at professional level
- Knowledge and operation by company procedures and processes (operational, quality, safety)
- Good communicator for debriefing pilots, flight crew, Maintenance Lead, and shift handovers
- Able to work independently in less controlled environments, take initiative, and apply logical thinking
Responsibilities
- Comply with requirements as described in the regulations
- Ensure line maintenance tasks meet UK CAA and MOE instructions
- Develop variable and flexible work planning and rosters based on business needs
- Complete all maintenance within appropriate time scales for serviceable aircraft
- Conduct daily problem analysis and solving based on pilot and relevant information
- Brief and debrief pilots and Maintenance Lead
- Perform preflight checks (PRF)
- Ensure availability of maintenance materials, spare parts, and tools on site
- Report daily on maintenance situation to the Maintenance Lead
