As Electronics Engineer II, contribute to the full lifecycle design and implementation of board-level and system-level electronics hardware for advanced RF communication systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics hardware development
  • Experience with PCB layout and the core principles of board design
  • Knowledge of lab instruments, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies
  • Experience with microcontrollers and/or FPGA based systems
  • Proficiency with electronics design (EDA) tools such as Altium, Kicad, Xpedition
  • Experience using LTSpice for circuit and/or system level simulations
  • U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee or refugee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to full lifecycle design and implementation of board-level and system-level electronics hardware for advanced RF communication systems
  • Perform detailed and complete schematic design for complex boards, ranging from key components to supporting passives
  • Conduct technical trade studies on issues such as IC/component selection and circuit implementation
  • Write and execute test procedures for design verification and acceptance
  • Use LTSpice for circuit and/or system level simulations
  • Design PCBs adhering to core principles of board design
  • Validate designs using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies
  • Convey complex electrical systems through block diagrams and variety of documentation
