As First Officer, serve as a vital partner to the Captain ensuring every journey is smooth, safe, and comfortable for employees and guests.

Serve as Pilot Monitoring, keeping a vigilant eye on flight instruments, radio communications, and navigation. Assist in preparing accurate flight plans, checking weather reports, calculating fuel requirements, and aircraft performance data. Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure airworthiness.

Ensure all phases of flight adhere to FAA regulations, company SOPs, and local guidelines. Provide excellent customer service to passengers and coordinate ground transportation, fueling, and hangar services. Fly about three days per week on 1st shift Sunday–Friday at Wilson Air Center Chattanooga.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of college or Associate Degree
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Cessna Citation CE 500 SIC Type Rating
  • 1,500 hours of flight time in a variety of aircraft
  • 1 year of Pilot experience
  • Ability to use various aviation related iPad apps
  • Good computer skills with Google Workspace
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the latest developments within the business aviation community, including the FAR’s and other regulations
  • Ability to lift items weighing 15-50 pounds and occasionally in excess of 75 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Pilot Monitoring when not flying, keeping a vigilant eye on flight instruments, radio communications, and navigation to support the Captain
  • Assist in preparing accurate flight plans, checking weather reports, and calculating fuel requirements and aircraft performance data
  • Ensure all phases of flight strictly adhere to FAA regulations, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and local airport guidelines
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is airworthy and ready for departure
  • Provide excellent customer service to all passengers
  • Coordinate ground transportation, fueling, and hangar services at destination airports
  • Accurately maintain aircraft logbooks, flight records, and expense reports following company policy
  • Participate in company safety meetings and contribute to the Safety Management System (SMS)
