As a Ramp Agent, you will load and unload cargo weighing up to 70 lbs on and off aircraft, and push or pull containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs on rollers. You will drive vehicles ranging from 3,000 to 80,000 lbs in congested ramp areas and assist in aircraft push-out and de-icing procedures.
You will work in variable weather conditions and environmental conditions including jet engine fumes, vehicle emissions, dust, and jet engine noise. This role requires depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors such as red, green, and yellow.

Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds and push or pull containers weighing up to 3,200 pounds.
- Capability to work in variable weather conditions and environments with jet engine fumes, dust, and noise.
- Must have depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors (red, green, yellow).
- Ability to drive vehicles with gross weights up to 80,000 lbs in congested ramp areas (valid driver's license required).
- Comfort working at heights up to 80 feet for de-icing duties.
- Must be able to work assigned part-time shifts: Tuesday to Friday 4:00-7:30am and Saturday 5:00-8:30am, or Monday to Friday 6:30-10:30pm.
- Ability to read and understand off-load sheets and follow instructions.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo weighing up to 70 lbs from aircraft within confined cargo areas.
- Push, pull, and position loaded containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs on rollers to and from aircraft.
- Drive vehicles with gross weights ranging from 3,000 to 80,000 lbs in areas congested with aircraft and equipment.
- Engage in push-out of aircraft by driving an 80,000 lb vehicle or provide guide functions for the driver.
- Transport cargo between aircraft and designated locations using a 3,000 lb vehicle with attached carts.
- Read off-load sheets to determine the destination of cargo during unloading.
- De-ice aircraft at heights of up to 80 feet by lifting and holding the nose and spraying the exterior with glycol.
- Assist in monitoring security of the facility and comply with site security procedures.
