About this role

Regulus Group, a premier systems engineering and program management services provider for the FAA, is seeking a Senior ATC Specialist to support the National Airspace System. With over 20 years of industry presence, we deliver unparalleled technical and program management support across all five directorates in the Program Management Organization.

In this role, you will provide air traffic operations support and develop, implement, and approve policy and procedures. You will interact with service area centers and field facilities for ARTCCs, TRACONs, and towers to address operations and procedures issues.

You will support operational capacity and efficiency improvements by developing new or revised procedures and guidance. You will also support system acquisitions, coordinate field integration with technical personnel, and contribute to Concept of Operations, Human-In-The-Loop, and Computer-Human-Interface activities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of FAA or DoD ATC operational experience
  • FAA or DoD system acquisition and integration experience
  • Proficient with MS Office or similar products
  • Strong ATC procedures background and good interpersonal skills
  • Experience as an On-the-Job-Training (OJT) instructor or new system training development
  • Experience with the FAA Safety Risk Management (SRM) process
  • Knowledge of the FAA interagency or lines of business structure

Responsibilities

  • Provide air traffic operations support and policy/procedures development, implementation, and approval
  • Interact with service area centers and field facilities for ARTCCs, TRACONs, and towers on operations and procedures issues
  • Support operational capacity and efficiency enhancements through development and implementation of policy or guidance
  • Support system acquisitions and coordinate field integration with technical support personnel
  • Provide input for Concept of Operations (ConOps) and support Human-In-The-Loop (HITL) and Computer-Human-Interface (CHI) activities
  • Contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication and develop cooperative working relationships
  • Self-manage work assignments and contribute to quality, on-time deliverables that drive customer success
