As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Apprentice, assist licensed AMEs with maintaining the fleet of modern business aircraft. Use troubleshooting skills and knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices for various tasks related to maintenance and repair.

Carry out inspection, repair, servicing, and troubleshooting of AirSprint’s fleet according to manufacturer’s specifications, company policies, procedures, and Transport Canada regulations under supervision of a licensed AME. Maintain tools, equipment, and ground equipment required for primary duties. Conduct workplace inspections, clean ups, and report issues affecting serviceability or safety of aircraft.

Support AMEs in a collaborative manner to ensure operational efficiency. Identify hazardous or potentially hazardous situations and take action to maintain a safe environment. Be a stickler for quality, handle change well, act as a humble team player, and commit to seeking constructive feedback for personal growth.

Requirements

  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Diploma with Transport Canada accreditation
  • Excellent mechanical ability and tool skills
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
  • Canadian Passport or a valid Passport of another country with a US Visa
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver abstract

Responsibilities
