As a Ramp Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring top-tier performance in all aspects of baggage handling, exceeding customer expectations while upholding the highest standards of safety and teamwork. Your day-to-day work includes on-loading and off-loading baggage manually or mechanically, performing baggage sortation duties, and carrying out area hazard checks.

You will also gather and process data and documentation necessary for operational success, including weather reporting, and may communicate with the flight deck via headset. This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Customer and safety focus
  • Full driving license not needed for this position
  • Ability to lift and move heavy baggage
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

  • On-load and off-load baggage manually or mechanically in accordance with relevant training
  • Gather, input, and process all data and documentation necessary for operational success, including weather reporting
  • Undertake all relevant baggage sortation duties in a safe and efficient manner
  • Carry out area hazard checks to maintain safety
  • Carry out head-set duties, including communication with the flight deck, in accordance with relevant training
  • Support the team in creating a smooth and seamless airport experience for customers
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency
