As a licensed M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with one or more years of experience on large aircraft, leverage your skills in a role offering more autonomy. Summit Air operates passenger charters, cargo transport, and customized flights across Canada, specializing in northern and remote aviation. Join as the company expands its fleet and enters new markets from the Vancouver base.
Conduct maintenance on fleet aircraft and components per airworthiness standards, troubleshoot systems, and track activities. Coordinate with Dispatch, manage spares via stores, and maintain records in computerized systems. Ensure paperwork accuracy while committing to safety and operational excellence.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of licensed AME experience, preferably working with larger aircraft
- Possess Transport Canada AME License M2
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills
- Proven observational, decision-making and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance on fleet aircraft or aircraft components in accordance with applicable airworthiness standards
- Troubleshoot faulty systems
- Track and plan maintenance activities and coordinate with Dispatch as required
- Maintain spares package through communication with stores department
- Maintain aircraft records using computerized maintenance tracking system
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all required paperwork
