Airport Operations ensures safe and efficient operations by managing aircraft movements, gate assignments, and ramp activities while coordinating with airlines and ground crews. As a Ramp Tower Controller DENtern, contribute to DEN's Vision 100 strategic plan aiming for 100 million passengers.

Work alongside the Ramp Tower team in a 24/7 operation, issuing basic instructions to aircraft under supervision. Create daily operational summaries by gathering data from airport systems and compiling reports for senior leadership. Support seamless passenger experiences through ramp coordination and safety monitoring.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in college
  • Available for in-person work at Denver International Airport
  • Able to work flexible hours Monday through Friday up to 39 hours per week
  • Eligible to work within the state of Colorado
  • Interest in aviation and airport operations
  • Comfortable in a 24/7 operational environment
  • Basic familiarity with aircraft movements and ramp procedures

Responsibilities

  • Create and distribute a daily operational summary for senior leadership
  • Gather data from various airport systems and compile it into an email report
  • Under supervision, issue basic pushback instructions to aircraft
  • Under supervision, issue basic taxi instructions to aircraft
  • Assist in managing aircraft movements and ramp activities
  • Coordinate gate assignments with airlines and ground crews
  • Monitor ramp safety and efficiency during operations
  • Support safe interactions between aircraft and ground services
