About this role
The Executive, together with the AODM, ensures KLIA and klia2 function effectively as a 24-hour reporting, monitoring, coordinating, and command centre. They ensure compliance with operational and emergency procedures, coordinating implementation for smooth airport operations.
Monitor overall day-to-day operations of KLIA and klia2 on a 24-hour shift basis to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow up and ensure closure of all reported complaints and maintenance issues from stakeholders. Prepare periodic reports on operational status and recommend improvements for service effectiveness.
Update MA Sepang Management on any abnormality or incident disrupting operations. In crisis situations, run necessary checklists to ensure action sequences are complied with. Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to implement procedures per policy during daily operations.
Analyze information, data, and passenger forecasts to improve decision-making, driving implementations like PRS and Single Token. Gather, analyze, and interpret data for hourly and daily reports. Develop backup procedures and deploy resources per AEP to manage crises effectively.
Engage in strategy and planning by evaluating business processes for efficiency. Conduct programme evaluations for lessons learned and ensure prompt stakeholder communication. Demonstrate people management through directing teams, monitoring work, and fostering continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge in managing airport operations
- Ability to perform monitoring and coordination of airport functions
- Proficiency in compliance with operational and emergency procedures
- Skills in crisis management and checklist execution
- Experience analyzing data for operational reports and decision-making
- Capability to coordinate stakeholders during day-to-day and crisis operations
- Understanding of Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) for resource deployment
