About this role

The Aircraft Maintenance Team Leader (B2) supports the Management Team in ensuring activities are completed to required standards. This aligns with Company procedures and Regulatory airworthiness, design, and quality requirements. The role meets agreed company and customer requirements and programme plans.

Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems and structures at home base or deployed. Carry out embodiment of mechanical modifications in accordance with approved data. Conduct fault finding and rectification of defects using the Aircraft Maintenance Manual and other approved data.

Supervise up to 6 Technicians and 2 Apprentices in the MRO department. Certify modification and maintenance work within company authorisation. Work on light utility, unpressurised turbo-prop fixed wing aircraft.

Requirements

  • CAA Part-66 B2 Maintenance License
  • CAA Part-147 BN2T or BN2B type course (within 6 months of start date)
  • Aircraft engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Working in a similar role on light utility, unpressurised aircraft
  • Fault identification, isolation, and rectification of avionics systems
  • Base Maintenance preferably with modification experience
  • Working on light turbo-prop fixed wing aircraft
