About this role

The Boeing Company is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Emergency Dispatch Lead to join our team in Mesa, AZ. The GSOC is a dynamic organization that serves as an emergency services and business communications hub within Security and Fire Operations, improving safety and security worldwide.

In this role, you will supervise the answering and processing of emergency and service calls for Boeing Security and Fire Operations, ensuring proper pre-arrival instructions. You will also oversee shift compliance with standard operating procedures and conduct briefings with assigned shifts to maintain operational excellence.

This position requires working a rotating schedule and variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as the GSOC operates 24/7/365. You will coordinate and communicate with managers, provide situational updates, and interface with Boeing Security and Fire Departments and other business partners as needed.

You will lead the development of procedures and training, conduct After Action Reviews, and troubleshoot equipment failures. This role offers the opportunity to shape emergency dispatch operations and support a high-stakes environment critical to production and safety.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an emergency dispatcher at a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) or in a related role within Security & Fire Protection
  • 3+ years of experience with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), 911 phone and radio systems
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the answering and processing of emergency and service calls for Boeing Security and Fire Operations with appropriate pre-arrival instructions
  • Supervises shift compliance with standard operating procedures
  • Leads development of procedures, training, and other operational improvements
  • Conducts briefings with assigned shift to ensure alignment and readiness
  • Coordinates and communicates with manager, providing situational updates related to shift activities and needs
  • Coordinates with and supports the GSOC Emergency Dispatch Training Coordinator
  • Conducts After Action Reviews to evaluate and improve response effectiveness
  • Ensures adequate staffing during shift and maintains shift schedule
