The International Dispatcher coordinates and oversees the safe, efficient, and timely operation of private jet charters worldwide. This role requires deep understanding of international aviation regulations, flight planning, and customer service excellence.

The dispatcher acts as a central communication hub, ensuring seamless coordination between clients, flight crews, maintenance teams, and external authorities. Daily tasks include creating and filing comprehensive flight plans considering weather, airspace restrictions, fuel requirements, and aircraft performance. Route optimization focuses on cost-efficiency and operational safety while securing permits and clearances.

Real-time monitoring of flight operations addresses disruptions, with direct communication to crews on weather and routing changes. Collaboration with ground handling for fueling, catering, and passenger services, plus scheduling maintenance, maintains readiness. The role supervises a Flight Operations Coordinator in a dynamic team environment.

Work occurs in an office in Ocoee, Florida, with remote flexibility and after-hours demands for global support. Flexible hours include nights, weekends, and holidays in a high-stress setting requiring rapid decisions. Requirements

  • Deep understanding of international aviation regulations including FAA, EASA, and regional authorities
  • Proficiency in flight planning for global private jet operations
  • Knowledge of customs, immigration, and geopolitical travel advisories
  • Ability to coordinate with ATC, ground handling, and maintenance teams internationally
  • Experience managing real-time flight monitoring and disruptions
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States of America

Responsibilities

  • Create and file comprehensive flight plans, considering weather, airspace restrictions, fuel requirements, and aircraft performance
  • Ensure compliance with international aviation regulations, customs, and immigration requirements
  • Coordinate with Air Traffic Control (ATC) and ground handling teams to secure necessary permits and clearances
  • Monitor all aspects of flight operations in real-time, ensuring punctuality and addressing disruptions
  • Maintain direct communication with flight crews, providing updates on weather, routing changes, and advisories
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering itinerary updates and addressing concerns
  • Request landing and overflight permits
  • Maintain detailed records of flight operations, permits, and client preferences
